Worthing book signing a success

FOUR female writers took part in a book signing in Kim’s bookshop last Saturday.

Local authors Elaine Hankin, Wendy Hughes, Wendy Greene and Lynn McInroy signed copies of their latest works, which included fiction, non-fiction and poetry, at the bookshop in Chatsworth Road.

Elaine Hankin, of Elm Grove, Worthing, wrote ‘The Spanish Twin’ - a novel set during the Spanish Civil War.

She said: “It went very well, we had a lot of interest and sold some books. Somebody came along and wanted some of our books for a book club, which was nice.”

Elaine also founded the Sea Scribes writing group.
