Photos showed the aftermath of a collision at the Yeomans Toyota garage in Littlehampton Road.
Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) responded to the one-car collision.
A WSFRS spokesperson said: "At 12.27pm we responded to a road traffic collision at Conifer Drive, Northbrook.
"Joint Fire Control sent two fire engines and a heavy rescue tender from Worthing to the scene.
"Upon arrival crews found a collision involving one car into a garage car park.
"Firefighters released one person from the vehicle and left the casualty in the care of crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"Fire crews booked away from the scene at 12.52pm."
SECAmb said crews were alerted shortly before 12.20pm.
A spokesman added: “Ambulance crews attended and one person, the driver of the car, was assessed and treated before being taken to Worthing Hospital for further checks.”
Sussex Police said it is not appealing for any further information at this time.
