Worthing schoolchildren's helicopter visit

Children at Downsbrook Middle School thought they looked like "little ants" in aerial photographs taken from a visiting helicopter.

Children were treated to a special flight-related lesson when the company Heli-Wise came to the Dominion Road school.

Aerial photographs were taken from the low-altitude flying machine of the students arranging a 'Welcome Logo' design on the playground.

Paul White, director of Heli-Wise, said "They were given a flight-related outdoor assembly . Each class is photographed by our helicopter including shots of the school from all angles - north, south, east and west. This forms part of the 16-page souvenir book which the parents will be able to buy"
