UNDERTAKER by day, wrestler by night - meet the Dominator.

So that's two falls, one submission and one internment...and at 20 stones Bexhill man Stu Allen is more than capable.

Wrestling fans will soon be able to see Stu in action when he takes part in a night of thrills and spills at Bexhill's Leisure Centre.

LDN Wrestling Live is a Sky Television event which will be held on Saturday July 5 and brings to Bexhill wrestlers such as Filthy Phil Powers, Gentleman Jon Ritchie and American star Tex Benedict.

It's billed as a family night with live entertainment from a collection of bruisers and brawlers who will be settling old scores as well as starting new rivalries. In addition, TV cameras will be there to film the action exclusively for the long-running series LDN Capital TV.

Dominator, also known as Stu Allen, has been living just off Turkey Road for almost three years.

He moved here with his partner and children for work reasons - he has a job with a well-known funeral director.

Stu, 33, lived in Oxford before having been born and raised in Hamberg.

As a youngster he always followed wrestling on television and realised as he grew up he wanted to go in that direction.

"I just decided to bulk up," said Stu.

"I started lifting weights and went from 9 stones to the 20 stones freak I am now.

"The thing is people love to see larger-than-life cartoon characters when they go to wresting, they don't want to see kids from Grange Hill.

"I worked hard, trained hard, worked with the weights, and made myself into a cartoon character, someone who looks like a superhero rather than an average Jo.

"I always had this interest in wrestling as a kid, and always followed it. Mine was a sporting family...my father was a professional golfer and my mother was an actress, and those half-sport and half-theatre sides pulled me to this."

He went to train at the age of 18 in Florida at the Skull Krusher Academy with Adrian Street, who once was one of the stars of World Of Sport.

He turned professional at a young age and has been wrestling now some 15 years. He is looking forward to the LDN evening at Freedom Leisure and hopes it will spark off new interest in the sport.
