Year 8 consultation at Bexhill High

BEXHILL High School held a Year 8 parents' evening with a difference.

Parents and carers or guardians found out how their child's curriculum is planned and what they are studying in each of their areas of learning.

The main areas are:

- Discoveries, which includes joint projects in maths, science and ICT

- Culture and Communication, which encompasses english, humanities and modern foreign languages

- Well-being, which is PE and expressive arts.

The difference was that during the evening parents each received an invitation to join life at Bexhill High by attending the various clubs provided by the school throughout the year - and even to lead some of the clubs if they are suitably qualified.

Adults were also asked for feedback on how their children were performing, but from a parent's viewpoint.

If you would like more information on any club or classes taking place at Bexhill High, call 730100 or email [email protected]
