Young Farmers Charity Tractor Run Chailey District Young farmer club set out at 10:30am on Sunday 11th December 2022 to raise money for their club and St Peter & James Hospice. They hosted a charity tractor run in the local villages such as Ardingly, Cuckfield ,Lindfield and the town center of Haywards Heath.

Bradley Woodward, Vice President of Chailey District YFC said “We as a club believe that everyone deserves a good Christmas. So the club members sat down together to organize a tractor run but what is so special about this one? Well the aim is to get everyone who is in the villages and towns together to see a wonderful sight bringing the community together but with this in mind we are also raising money to go to a very good cause and also bring local tractor,Lorries and vintage vehicles drivers together to have a bit of fun. We also had Santa and sleigh with us being pulled by one of our members tractor Owen Edmond from O.Edmond Hay,Hayleigh and Straw.We would like to thank everybody who came out to see us, Mid Sussex Police and Council, All our sponsors including South of England Showground NFU Haywards Heath Branch, SJR,Haynes Agricultural, Olivers Agricultural, Rod Gaskin Ltd, Starbrite Chemical Ltd, Ernest Does Ringmer.We would like to thank Sussex Roast for supplying us with food on the day.We would also like to thank all the patience car drivers on the road for letting us run this event safely.We would like to thank everybody who donated some money.This will go a long way to our club and St Peter & James Hospice.We would like to thank everybody who participated in the run.We had a record of 75 Vehicles on the roads being a tractor or a lorry or a vintage vehicle.We hope you all enjoyed it.Head over to our Facebook page Chailey District YFC to see all the video and photos of the day”
