Young sporting stars sought by county

THE search has begun for the young sporting stars of East Sussex.

East Sussex County Council has invited nominations for a Sports Development Award under a scheme which recognises and celebrates the achievements of young people in sport.

Under the scheme the council's PE and Sports Development Team last year distributed over 200 awards to young people in the county including more than 14,000 to help them with their sporting ambitions. This year the team hopes to allocate a similar amount.
