Youngsters from Felpham tell MPs how it is

YOUNGSTERS from the Arctic Fox Explorer Scout Unit in Felpham took part in a debate with MPs about their views of knife crime and childhood obesity.

The Scouts, aged 14 to 18, travelled to Bournemouth to meet 13 Liberal Democrat MPs for a workshop organised by The Scout Association, giving them the chance to voice their concerns on a number of topics.

MP Vince Cable, Liberal Democrat deputy leader and shadow chancellor of the exchequer, who attended the event, said: 'This was a brilliant and imaginative initiative. I was struck by the enthusiasm and creativity of the Scouts."
