At Ifield Park, operating two care homes - Woodroffe Benton House and Ellwood Place Dementia Care Home – this achievement is more than just a rating, it is a reflection of the consistent efforts of betterment, professionalism and personal dedication that goes into every moment of care we deliver.
Since taking up the role, our new manager has led with purpose, warmth and a clear vision: To make Ifield Park Care Home a place where residents thrive and families feel peace of mind. With a renewed focus on person-centred care, staff development, community connection and engaging activities for the residents (which led to the PCS Award in January) our home has grown into a vibrant, welcoming space filled with life, laughter and comfort.
During the recent CQC inspection, the inspectors recognised the quality of our care, the strength of our leadership, the genuine kindness of our team and the thoughtful renovation done to keep the residents comfortable. But the most important feedback still comes from the people who matter most – our residents and their families. They often tell us how reassured and comfortable they feel, and how quickly Ifield Park transformed and begins to feel like home.
We believe every person deserves more than just care. They deserve respect, comfort and the happiness of having their wishes fulfilled. Whether someone joins us for long-term support or short-term respite, they become part of a warm, respectful community where their choices matter, and their stories are honoured.
