ARUNDEL THWART PRIMMER

PAGHAM captain Craig Primmer has ruffled a few feathers this season, but despite the talented Kiwi running the show with a brilliant display of batting, Arundel dug deep to snatch a draw in this Invitation League Division one clash.

Pagham still fancied their chances of toppling Findon at the top of the table, but to do so they had to despatch Arundel without trace.

The start was delayed by 25 minutes to allow the wicket to dry out, but there had been a lot of rain and lots of sawdust had to be used.

Steve Mullen won the toss for Arundel and put Pagham in, who found themselves in trouble at 100-6, before Primmer arrived at the crease.
