Beckford cracks winner for Lewes
LEWES strengthened their third spot in the Conference South with a 2-1 home win against Welling on Saturday.
Steve Robinson conceded an own goal to Welling on five minutes but Jamie Cade equalised ten minutes later after a well worked move with Dean Hooper and Jean Michel-Sigere.
Karl Beckford cracked home a 25-yard dipping winner into the far corner of the net with five minutes remaining.
Lewes play Worthing in the Sussex Senior Cup on Wednesday.
