BEN HOOKS MUSSELS INTO SECOND ROUND
SHOREHAM Football Club are through to meet Littlehampton in the second-round of the Sussex Senior Cup after Ben Milford's early goal was enough to see off Storrington on Saturday.
Storrington returned to the Senior Cup competition after a four year absence but were without Neil Richardson, and chose to leave their other leading scorer Dan Griffin on the bench.
Shoreham, the visitors to the Rec, began confidently after last week's thumping of Broadbridge Heath. In the second minute Ben Milford hooked the ball goalwards and Paul Smith allowed the ball to squirm through his fingers into the net.
