Bexhill boxing clever

FORMER British lightweight champion Ray Catruse will be putting on a boxing exhibition before Bexhill United's home game against Crowborough Athletic on Saturday September 28.

Catruse, who lives in Bexhill, will be going through some of the moves which made him world number 3 in 1981, with a pad display on the pitch. The exhibition starts at 2.40pm before the football kicks off at 3pm.

United go into the game with a depleted side as Alex Paige and Oliver Leigh both miss out due to injury and Andy Copley (holiday) and Mark Pickles (wedding) are also unavailable.
