Bexhill lose their way

BEXHILL United slumped to their fourth defeat of the season in Sussex Division Three after losing 2-0 away to Lingfield on Saturday.

United dominated the first half but were unable to convert their chances and the match remained goalless at half time.

After the break it was a different story as the home side began to get on top and after 69 minutes they took the lead through a Richardson strike from 20 yards.

Nine minutes later it got worse for Bexhill as Langridge squeezed in a shot from an acute angle to double Lingfield's lead. United tried to hit back through Benji Symes but his weak shot failed to trouble the keeper.
