Bognor rugby chiefs celebrate national accolade


It is a good-practice commendation for management and development awarded by the RFU.
The award assesses good practice in many areas of the club, including school-club links, health and safety, child protection, player and coach development, volunteering, community links, and succession planning.

Hide AdRugby’s core values, teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship are at the heart of all aspects of Bognor Rugby Club.
The club welcomed local sitting MP Nick Gibb, Bognor town mayor and mayoress Tony and Sandra Gardiner, RFU Council member Allan Butcher, Sussex rugby vice-president Dewi Vaughan, Sussex rugby development manager Steve Briscoe and Sussex rugby development officer Mal Chumbley for the occasion.
They all enjoyed seeing more than 300 young players from Chobham, Chichester, Shoreham and Bognor enjoying a great rugby festival.
