Asked about the 'boring' chants after the game, Ryan said: "I don't care to be honest. We got a point and a clean sheet so I'm happy.
"They can call it how they see it, everyone is entitled to their opinions but I'm just focused on what we need to do as a team and what's needed to get safe."

Hide AdRyan added it was a crucial point for Brighton in their battle to stay up: "For whatever reason a team like us always seem to be up against it especially on the road.
"Any way we can take the sting out of the game, slow it down and just hang in there for as long as we can, keeping a clean sheet means the worst case scenario is you get a point.
"I'd much rather that than having lost 1-0 or whatever. Perhaps we didn't create so much offensively but at the same time we didn't lose, were solid at the back and got another point on the board which is going to be vital.

With our superior goal difference that could be an important point and perhaps more importantly we showed a reaction from some of our recent performances. We haven't been good enough and it just goes to show that when we're right on it and on the game we can go anywhere and make a game of it.
“They've been a great team all year and they've shown that in all of the matches they've played. We hung in there today and we got a point."
