Chairman Parris quits Lewes

His decision to step down was taken after long consideration and is due to family and business commitments.

"I have had an extremely enjoyable time at Lewes and have made numerous friends through my work with the club,' said Parris. 'It has, however, taken up increasing amounts of my time.'

He added: ' I am very sad to be leaving but it is on amicable terms with the board and I shall always be a huge supporter of the club. I wish Lewes FC continued success for the future.'
