Chichester athletes are muddy marvels in Milland

Chichester's endurance athletes have faced an additional challenge over the summer with off-road courses suffering with the extra obstacle of muddier conditions than normal.

Nowhere was this more evident that in the recent Milland half marathon, where slippery conditions caused a number to fall in the 300-strong field in the steep inclines and declines of the challenging course.

The Chichester Runners squad all completed the course in fine style with six of the ten athletes finishing inside the top 100.
