The treble was completed by the quartet of Terry Hodd, Dave Shorey, Nigel Hooper and Derrick Deeprose who soared to a 26-16 victory in the County Fours over a Worthing team skipped by Alf Vickers, who had previously beaten another Egerton team in the quarter-finals. Lead bowler Hodd received his County badge during the trophy presentations from county president Cecil Tomkins.

All of the teams were delighted with their victories and put on a superb show for the East of the county in their newly-sponsored MC Glass club shirts.
