Cricket: Danushka's delight equals despair for Bognor

After electing to bowl, Billingshurst had Bognor in a spot of bother at 64 for three in the sides' division three west clash.

Vice-captain Luke Seward steadied the ship with a composed 63 including eight fours, but Billingshurst spinner Danushka Mitpolaarachchi tangled up Bognor’s batsmen with a fine six for 27 that saw them end on 151 all out.

Mitpolaarachchi sought to end the game single-handed but after hitting 45 from 37 balls he was undone by the zesty Josh Broad (3-36). Young spinner Joe Ashmore weighed in with for two for 28 but Billingshurst reached their target with five wickets to spare.
