As the evening light faded, the Chandlers invitational XI just fell short of the West Chiltington score, in what everyone agreed was a very entertaining T20 contest.

The money will go towards The Chandlers £50k Challenge, which aims to raise £50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in honour of Chandlers’ employee Rob Sadler, a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer himself. Rob will be having a double celebration during 2013, marking not only 30 years of Chandlers’ employment, but more significantly his 50th birthday; those with Cystic Fibrosis are not expected to live beyond their 30s.

Richard Skinner, Commercial Director at Chandlers and member of the Chandlers team commented:

“Thanks have to go to West Chiltington for hosting us and donating the proceeds from the barbeque to our campaign, and to everyone who came along to support the event and help us to raise money for the Chandler £50k Challenge.”

As well at other fundraising activity, Chandlers is organising a charity golf day which is taking place at Slinfold Golf & Country Club on Friday 27th September. People interested in playing can email [email protected] in the first instance.
