Park will entertain Buckinghamshire outfit Dinton in round six of the Davidstow Village Cup tomorrow (Sunday, 1pm start).

“We’re just glad to still be there,” said Park captain Paul Brookes. “The dream is still there to get to Lord’s (venue for the final). If we could get another win, it’s another step further and who knows.”

Sussex Division Two side Park lost away to Home Counties Division Two team Dinton in the last 32 last season. A good crowd is expected for the reunion with Dinton set to bring around 50 supporters down with them.

“It will be interesting to have them come down and play at our ground,” continued Brookes. “If we can play with the same team spirit we’ve had so far this season, I think we’ve got every chance.”

Park, who expect to field the same side which beat Findon in the previous round, also have an important league game at home to Lindfield today (Saturday, 1pm start).
