Andrew Harriott, who was Bexhill’s overseas player in 2012, was part of the Australian Capital Territory XI which took on England in Canberra.

Wicketkeeper/batsman Harriott was ACT’s second highest scorer with 27 and stumped Moeen Ali, but England warmed up for their one-day tri-series against Australia and India with a comprehensive 216-run victory.

Back in his native Australia, Harriott is the Northern District wicketkeeper and was recently named in the Sydney Thunder academy squad.

Another former Bexhill overseas player, Mark Steketee, has featured for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League of late.
