Jofra Archer and Ollie Robinson land new England deals

Sussex pace pair Jofra Archer and Ollie Robinson are among players handed new England central contracts.

Both have been plagued by injury problems – Archer particularly so – but England have kept faith with both as they announce their first multi-year contracts, which are being regarded as a way to ward off interest in players from franchise leagues.

Robinson started 2023 in the England side for the Ashes but he lost his place after failing to make a big impact in the early part of the series, which ended 2-2.
