Priory batsman hits stunning ton for Sussex
MATT Machan scored his first century for Sussex with a dazzling knock of 126 not out in a CB40 win over Unicorns.
The 21-year-old batsman, who the previous day had been playing club cricket for Hastings Priory, hit the third ball he faced for six.
His runs came off exactly 100 balls and he hit nine fours and four sixes as Sussex amassed a daunting 291-3 off their 40 overs at Hove.
Unicorns - made up of players who retain hopes of earning a contract on the county circuit, finished on 147-9.
