SLIDESHOW: James shines for Saints

Hayden James hit 93 from just 40 balls as St Andrews beat West Chiltington and Thakeham by six wickets.

West Chilts batted first and scored 199-7 mainly thanks to Tim Jarvis’ 78. James (3-50) and Nick Elkins (3-48) were the pick of the bowlers.

In reply, Steve Kingcome (58) gave St Andrews a good start but they soon found themselves at 84-4. But James then proceeded to smash the ball to all parts and with the support of Iain Murray (20 not out), saw Saints home. Photographer Steve Robards was at the game.
