Sussex at Trent Bridge for penultimate championship clash

After securing Division 1 status on Friday by sealing a fantastic seven-wicket victory over Lancashire at The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, Sussex will be aiming to continue their strong finish to the season with a win over Nottinghamshire, who’s title aspirations were ended with defeat to champions Yorkshire last week.
Skipper Ed Joyce was in fine form against Lancashire, hitting 137 and 79 whilst both Chris Nash and Craig Cachopa struck half-centuries in each innings. Ashar Zaidi returned to the side to score 66 and take five wickets, and both Chris Jordan and Steve Magoffin were also amongst the scalps.
