Cricketers triumph in thrilling darts final

SIDLEY Cricket Club clinched the Observer Cup Knockout on a thrilling night of darts action.

The cricketers were crowned champions after a tense 4-3 comeback win over Sidley Working Men B at Little Common Legion.

The Working Men were up 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 until Steve Bartholomew and Phil Crittenden each won 2-0 in the closing two games. The cricket club's Scott Taylor hit a maximum 180.

The semi-finals were contested on the same night with the eventual winners getting the better of Pebsham A and the beaten finalists disposing of Sidley Working Men Social.
