Crows second favourites to win FA Vase

Bookmakers have installed Crowborough Athletic as second favourites to win this year's FA Vase.

And bookies clearly heavily fancy Crowborough '“ who reached the last 16 of the prestigious competition by beating Lymington Town 4-1 on Saturday '“ to make it at least to the last eight.

Crowborough host either Studley or Kirkham & Wesham in the fifth round of the Carlsberg-sponsored Vase. Their tie was postponed on Saturday because of a waterlogged pitch and will be played this coming Saturday (January 26).

And bookmakers Skybet, so far the only firm to offer prices on the FA Vase, make both those teams rank outsiders to win the competition.

Crowborough have been installed 10/1 second favourites, behind runaway favourites Truro City (2/1). But Studley have been given a price of 50-1 to win the competition, while Kirkham & Wesham are even further adrift at 66/1.

Since beating Hailsham Town in round one in October with a last-minute Ross Treleaven goal, the Crows have picked up 4,400 in prize money, with 1,500 won for Saturday's win.

Winners in the fifth round will pick up 2,00
