Davies' double is still on the cards

IT'S been another successful season for Rustington Football Club and it will get even better if they retain the Vernon-Wentworth Cup tomorrow (Friday).

The game was scheduled for Monday but was postponed.

Rustington have already retained the Division 3 Cup, in a penalty shoot-out against Lingfield and finished third in the league.

Rustington boss Gareth Davies won three cup competitions in his first season in charge last year '” the Sussex Intermediate Cup being the other one. A double this year would cap a remarkable start in management.
