Deegan eyes up Goodwood Cup bid
Midnight Soprano could line up in the Artemis Goodwood Cup next month providing ground conditions are suitable.
The Paul Deegan-trained mare ran a brave race in defeat at the the Curragh on Sunday, finding only the improving Hartani too strong in the Curragh Cup.
Midnight Soprano had previously rattled off five wins on the spin, including at Listed level, and might now head across the Irish Sea for the first time in her career.
The Goodwood Cup takes place on Ladies’ Day, August 2.
