EP STAY IN PROMOTION HUNT
AN OUTSTANDING midfield display by Andy Quigg capped a superb day for East Preston on Saturday when they made up ground in the promotion race, with East Grinstead and Lancing both drawing.
Quigg set up both goals for Lee Farrell with defence-splitting passes, and would have laid one on for Simon Clayton, only for the former Rustington man to fire over the bar from 12 yards when unmarked.
Farrell got EP on their way after 14 minutes, when he latched onto a Quigg pass to outpace the Oakwood defence and slam the ball home.
