Family fun Sunday at on track racecourse

FONTWELL Park racecourse is on track to open its new multi-million pound Premier Grandstand on August 19, which will provide state-of-the-art facilities for both racedays and non-racedays.

The impressive three-storey building is located overlooking the racecourse with views where visitors can really be in the heart of action on racedays.

The August opening coincides with the course's popular Ladies evening fixture.

Meanwhile a Family Fun raceday takes place on Sunday March 21, when under 15's get in free with an aduly. Gates open as noon, with the first race at 2.10pm.

There will be seven jump races, bouncy castles and face painting, pets corner and plenty of bars and food outlets. Appearances at interval throughout the day by Sportakus UK will be a special feature.
