Fancy dress sees Disney characters swing in at Bognor

THE winners at Bognor's Ladies Fun Day Stableford competition really dwarfed the competition - although the fancy dress winners were very easily spotted.

Sixteen teams of four took part and entered into the spirit of the day by dressing up in the theme of the day all dressed as Walt Disney characters.

The Stableford competition was won with 134 points by Janet Carter, Wendy Pettie, June Salt, and Doris Thomas who were all dressed as dwarves.

But it wasn’t just about the golf as there were prizes for best dressed which was won by a group a little short of their 101 Dalmatians, but the four Beryl Payne, Val Robertson, Marge Fenwick and Di Pratt all looked fantastic.

Runners-up were Donald Duck and nephews and third The Aristocats. The best dressed lady was Hilary Riley as the pink fairy.
