Findon make shock exit

FINDON Cricket Club, twice national semi-finalists, exited the National Village Cup at the second round stage on Sunday.

Away to Surrey-side Outwood, Findon were defeated by seven wickets after scoring only 134. That was after an opening stand of 46, in which opener John Rogers blasted 35 from just 21 balls with five fours and two sixes.

After Rogers departed, wickets fell at regular intervals, with only Paul O'Sullivan (23) and Mark Stewart getting past 20.
