Fontwell flings its doors open

Boxing Day was the last time Fontwell saw racing - but the track has an open day on Wednesday Picture by Clive Bennett

This is an excellent opportunity to view the fantastic facilities at the unique venue, which apart from race meetings is ideal for meetings, conferences, banqueting, exhibition and fairs.

It comes after the track’s first three race meetings of the year - the most recent one last Thursday - all fell victim to the weather.

You can join them for afternoon tea between 2pm and 5pm with a chance to win a table for four in the venue’s Premier Restaurant on a raceday.

George Hill, Fontwell’s marketing manager, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Fontwell Park for the open day. Our venue can be used for various events on both racedays and non-racedays, and the open day is the perfect way to demonstrate what we can offer.”
