37 great photos as Worthing FC go top of National South by beating Boreham Wood

It was another special night at Woodside Road as Worthing won their second promotion six-pointer of the week to go top of National League South.

One down to previous leaders Boreham Wood at the break, Chris Agutter’s team scored twice in the second half to clinch a 2-1 win that took them to the summit.

Joel Colbran and Ruben Carvalho were the scorers but it was a fantastic team effort – just three days after they’d won by the same scoreline at Maidstone.

The victories have set up the Rebels nicely for Saturday’s huge FA Trophy last-16 tie at home to National Premier side Rochdale.
