The Sports – on the back of a run of 14 wins from their past 15 – were 4-0 down at the break as the Darts hit the target time and time again in the first half, scoring through Dan Smith, Max Fiddes (2) and Ben Greenhalgh.
Borough perked up a little in the second half and Liam Nash got one back on his return after eight weeks out injured, but the comeback was never on.
King’s men stay third in the table and have a quick chance to put this behind them when they host Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday.
