Seagulls remain 7/1 for the title at BetVictor behind Middlesbrough (7/4) and, themselves, 7/4 to be playing Premier League football next term irrespective of whether it is automatic promotion or via the play-offs.

Chris Hughton has done a magnificent job but all at the Amex will be well aware that the division is a real marathon.

That said this is a brilliant start and they will certainly not lack in confidence against a Wolves side who lost at Bolton last weekend and were not in midweek action.

Wolves are, surprisingly perhaps, 11/8 favourites to keep all three points in the Black Country with the draw 12/5 and Albion 9/4.

Tomer Hemed has scored four goals in the last three Championship games and the Israeli international is 13/2 at BetVictor to score the opening goal at Wolves and 12/5 to continue his rich scoring form at anytime.

Wolves have failed to keep a clean sheet in eight competitive games this season although they have, themselves, found the back of the net in all bar one of their fixtures and both teams to score is priced at 9/10 and that might be the value.

The Premier League sides once again disappointed in the Champions League on Tuesday but Chelsea and Arsenal, who were both in Champions League action on Wednesday, meet at the Bridge in the pick of the weekend fixtures.

Blues would have been odds on at the start of the season but, after a modest start to the defence of their crown, they are now 6/4 at BetVictor with the Gunners 2/1 and the draw at 12/5.
