Bosham notch away win over Worthing... at home
The match was switched to Walton Lane because Worthing’s ground was unfit and there was a large and at times boisterous crowd in place.

Hide AdBosham eventually found their feet with one of their strongest sides out to date, and Alex Barnes fired them into the lead after 12 minutes with a thumping finish to a well-worked move.
Bosham created further chances for the likes of Michael Anderson and Barnes before the latter doubled their advantage ten minutes after his first. Barnes showed great pace to fly past Dan Read then cut in from the right before unleashing an unstoppable shot past keeper Ben Purkis.
Ryan Warr, the Worthing skipper, was their most dangerous player, his strength and persistence making the Bosham defence work hard to prevent opportunites on goal, leaving Harley Redman relatively untroubled in goal.

Hide AdAfter the break, just a few minutes had elapsed when Barnes had an excellent chance to complete a hat-trick. An excellent pass from Conor Crabb saw Barnes clean through only to scuff his effort with only Purkis to beat.
Late on Warr netted a late strike for the visitors but the result was never really in doubt.
If the season is to end now at least Bosham can feel happy at ending on a real high but we wait to see what, if anything, happens next.
