City A.M. reported offers to purchase 75 per cent, and up to 90 per cent, for a consortium or single purchaser.

Wall Street's Josh Harris and David Blitzer, who control NBA basketball team Philadelphia 76ers and NHL ice hockey franchise New Jersey Devils, bought a controlling stake in Crystal Palace in 2015 but a report earlier this year stated they were open to sell.

Chairman Steve Parish is a minority owner but it is believed he would reduce his stake, which could attract buyers.

City A.M. stated Palace’s income grew to £150.3m for year ending June 2018. Zenith Global Capital Partners said Palace could be sold debt-free and has a projected valuation of £525m after three years and £700m by year five.

Palace were promoted back to the Premier League in 2013 and Roy Hodgson's men are currently ninth in the table.
