Dean Smith' s team were beaten 2-1 by Brighton in the reverse fixture at Villa Park earlier this season thanks to goals from Danny Welbeck and Solly March.
Villa though have impressed this campaign and are ninth in the table on 35 points from 21 matches and Smith has no new fitness concerns following the home win against Arsenal.
Defender Kortney Hause (foot) is unlikely to return before the end of the month while striker Wesley (knee) is continuing his recovery and is not close to a return following 13 months out.
January signing Morgan Sanson awaits his full debut for the club and Douglas Luiz will be hoping for a recall after being an unused substitute against the Gunners.

5. Matt Targett
A very reliable left back and enjoys getting forward and linking with Jack Grealish
6. Douglas Luiz
Could well return to the team today after missing out to Nakamba as Dean Smith tweaked his tactics for the win at Arsenal.
7. John McGinn
Sometimes goes under the radar in this Villa team but an excellent midfielder. Very competitive and has all the skills in his locker
8. Bertrand Traore
Finding his form for Villa. A huge talent and is a real threat to any defence on his day
