Brighton and Hove Albion tasted defeat against Manchester United for the second time in four days at the Amex this evening (Wednesday, September 30).

Goals from Scott McTominay, Juan Mata and Paul Pogba saw United through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup at the expense of Albion.

The match came four days after the Seagulls suffered a 3-2 home league defeat against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, who were awarded a 100th minute penalty (90+10).
