Countless chances including a missed Neal Maupay penalty were wasted by the hosts, with the side now having only scored once in their last seven appearances and not seen a goal at The Amex since mid-January.
On the other hand, Norwich stopped the rot of their six game losing streak by hanging onto a point at the AMEX.
Dean Smith’s side kept out Brighton, some part of their own and some by Brighton’s complete wastefulness in a tough backs to the wall performance.
Here are the player ratings - Brighton by Sonny Turner, Norwich City by Sonny Turner.

5. Neal Maupay- 2
A day to forget for the striker, wasting an abundance of chances, including a penalty which he blasted well over the target. Other golden opportunities from just yards out were also put off target, in a game in which the striker could’ve easily scored a hat-trick. A nice touch from the home support who sung their man’s name when he was brought off.

6. Alexis Mac Allister- 7
Played positively throughout and narrowly missed a couple of long range efforts. A testing strike almost won it at the end, but Tim Krul parried away.

7. Leandro Trossard- 7
His best moment, a slick turn, followed by quick feet, created a chance inside the area which was blocked and followed by three Brighton corners from which they should have scored.

8. Enock Mwepu- 6
Came on late in the game, and had little effect in trying to push Brighton to a winner.
