Brighton fans plan brilliant gesture for injured Japan World Cup star Kaoru Mitoma
Brighton vs Man United in the Premier League from the Amex Stadium - Sunday, 4pm
Brighton fans plan to show their respect for injured winger Kaoru Mitoma in the final match of the season against Manchester United this Sunday at the Amex Stadium.
Mitoma, 29, injured his hamstring in the 3-0 win against Wolves earlier this month.
It ruled the Japan international out for the rest of Albion's Premier League matches and also for this summer's World Cup.
The injury was a huge blow for club, player and country. Brighton fan Andrew James, posted: "Operation Clap & Chant for Mitoma!
"Can we PLEASE organise a clap & chant in the 22nd minute for Kaoru Mitoma at the Amex on Sunday?
"Would be a lovely end of season gesture after his World Cup heartbreak.

Mitoma, who wears the No 22 shirt, made 25 Premier League appearances for Brighton this term with three goals and one assist.
He once again scooped Brighton’s goal of the season award last week for his stunning volley in the 2-2 draw at Tottenham.
