Brighton are five points above the Premier League drop zone following last Wednesday's frustrating 0-0 draw against fellow strugglers Fulham.
Once again, they played some decent football but converting chances has been a huge source of frustration this season.
High on the wish list of many Albion fans is a new striker to provide that all-important edge.
Brighton are expected to complete the signing of Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo, while Polish duo Jakub Moder and Michał Karbownik were recalled from loan earlier this month.

5. Dan James
Graham Potter worked well with James during his time at Swansea and Albion fans would love to see his high-paced skills in Albion colours. James has struggled to be a regular in the first team at Man United and has also been been linked with a move to Leeds. He'd be a great signing!
6. Divock Origi
Wolves and RB Leipzig are said to be interested in signing the Belgian striker from Liverpool but he's name that has also been linked with Brighton. It was rumour that proved popular with the Albion fans who see the 25-year-old as the answer to Albion's scoring problems. Powerful and mobile player with an eye for goal.
7. Romero
The Man United goalkeeper is way down the pecking order at Old Trafford and is rumoured to be on his way out. Some Brighton fans are keen to add the experienced Argentine to the Albion squad following Maty Ryan's loan switch to Arsenal
8. Emiliano Buendía
The Norwich midfielder was a class act in the Premier League last season and much like Cantwell, many were surprised he didn't get his move last summer. Brighton fans are very keen but Graham Potter's midfield seems pretty well stacked with tricky midfielders at the moment. He would still be a good signing, although Arsenal also very keen.
