Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher revealed their respective XIs in the final Monday Night Football of the campaign.
Both included Manchester City quartet Rúben Dias, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, Arsenal skipper Martin Ødegaard, and Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier in their teams of the season.
But former Manchester United and England defender Neville also selected an Albion ace – alongside more City, Gunners, and Magpies stars – in his dream XI.
Here’s who the 48-year-old named in his 2022-23 Premier League Team of the Season.

5. Rúben Dias - Manchester City
Rúben Dias has enjoyed another exceptional campaign at champions Manchester City. The Portugal international has been a key part of a miserly City defence that has only conceded 31 goals this season - the best record in the Premier League. Photo: Julian Finney/Getty Images

6. Pervis Estupiñán - Brighton & Hove Albion
Kaoru Mitoma, Alexis Mac Allister, Evan Ferguson and Moisés Caicedo may have grabbed the headlines for Europe-bound Brighton & Hove Albion this campaign - but Pervis Estupiñán is the only Seagulls star to make Gary Neville's Premier League Team of the Season. The full-back has been Mr Consistent for the Albion. The Ecuador international has, so far, played 33 of Brighton's 37 Premier League games. The 25-year-old has started 88% of Albion's Premier League games this season, according to Transfermarkt. Estupiñán has also scored one goal and provided six assists. 7. Martin Ødegaard - Arsenal
Gary Neville crowned Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard as his Premier League Young Player of the Season. He said: "I was surprised and shocked when I found out Ødegaard is Arsenal's captain. Where has that come from? But he has been Arsenal's best player. Even in this difficult period, I think Ødegaard has been outstanding. His quality on the ball. The best young player." 8. Rodri - Manchester City
Midfield metronome Rodri has enjoyed another excellent campaign at Manchester City, and is arguably the best holding midfielder in the world right now. Speaking after City's UEFA Champions League win over Real Madrid, Sky Blues boss Pep Guardiola said: “He is so important to us. People talk about Erling Haaland, but without Rodri, we would not be where we are.” The Spain international has scored twice and registered six assists in 35 Premier League appearances for the champions this season.
