Brighton & Hove Albion were held to a 0-0 stalemate in their pre-season opener against Royal Union Saint-Gilloise.
The Seagulls hosted the Belgian club in a behind closed-doors friendly as they looked to kick start their pre-season campaign, however they struggled to break down their opponents.
Union SG’s team, who were already three matches deep into their pre-season preparations, featured Brighton’s Simon Adingra up top.
The Ivorian joined the south coast club on a four-year contract from FC Nordsjælland last month, before moving to Belgium on loan.
Next up for Brighton is a trip to Portugal where they will face Estoril Praia.
