Graham Potter's men have six points from their first eight Premier League matches of the new campaign. There have been some encouraging signs but the problem has been converting the chances they are creating.
Ben White and Adam Lallana have been integrated in the team this season and summer arrival Danny Welbeck also made his first start of the campaign just before the international break in the 0-0 stalemate with Burnley.
Brighton will resume after the break away at Aston Villa on November 21 and then they welcome Liverpool to the Amex on November 28.

17. Aaron Connolly 5/10
Scored a fine goal at Newcastle but has not made the impact he would have hoped for. A brilliant player when he's at his best: draws fouls, relieves pressure and finishes well. Faces serious competition from new summer arrival Andi Zeqiri, who Potter speaks extremely high of, and Danny Welbeck. Injured while training for Ireland but should be available for Villa.

18. Leandro Trossard 6/10
Looked really dangerous in the opening matches and scored a cracker against Chelsea. Hit the post at Newcastle and then three times against Man U. Was a bit lost as a lone forward at Tottenham and his best role seems to be wide or just behind the main striker. Missed the Burnley match with an adductor problem and hopes to be back for Villa.

19. Danny Welbeck 6/10
Some good work on his full debut against Burnley and all that was missing was that all-important finishing touch. The 29-year-old will provide Albion with an attacking focal point they have lacked since Glenn Murray's best days. Should prove to be a shrewd free transfer.
