Brighton have played some decent football this season but one win in eight is a disappointing return for Graham Potter's men.
Their one victory arrived at Newcastle back in September and they are just three points above the drop zone with six from their first eight matches.
Their approach play has been good with Adam Lallana and Tariq Lamptey a particular threat.
But Aston Villa have been impressive this season with Jack Grealish, Ollie Watkins and Ross Barkley in top form for Dean Smith's men

5. Adam Webster
Will likely be on the left side of the defensive trio. Divides opinion among the fans but was captain in Dunk's absence and continues to be one of Graham Potter's main men

6. Solly March
Injured his ankle against Tottenham and missed the 0-0 with Burnley. Has impressed at left wing back and will hope to return to the side at Villa.

7. Ben White
Could well go back to his defensive midfield role if Veltman retains his place in defence. The classy 22-year-old helps give Brighton a solid base in this role. Good in possession and tactically aware

8. Yves Bissouma
Adds energy and power to the Albion midfield. Has developed into a trusted and key player for Graham Potter, especially with Dale Stephens' departure and Davy Propper's injury struggles
